The EPA has rated the GV80’s fuel economy at 21 mpg city/25 highway/23 combined. In 268 miles driving through Southern California, aided by the idle stop/start, we averaged 23.8 It wasn’t easy, but cracking 30 mpg on the open road was a nice surprise in this size of car.

In 297 miles of mostly freeway driving through Southern California we averaged 22.1 mpg, but did a bit better on a 207-mile freeway run with the smart cruise control set at 65 mph, achieving 25.1 Three-Row SUV Comparison. Because of this we don’t address issues such as long-term reliability or total cost of ownership.
