On the other hand, Q1 sales for the car were down 13 percent year-over-year. And to be fair to GM, you can still get a Cadillac in sedan form. But again, the company is ceding a part of the market to its competitors instead of, you know, at least trying to fight for sales. And soon, perhaps, the Chinese.

According to our EVAdoption research, as of January 1, 2022 there may be only four EVs (and possibly just two) for sale in the US that have final assembly in China.

I wish the thing was for sale as-is. Well they did give brief bursts of acceleration through the parking lot to show that it does have some Roadster goodness to it. But yes, there was no slalom to see how it handles the twisties. It is probably a real rocket compared to the Daimler version that will eventually show up.

The trouble is you then have to stop right away, which brings about some pretty strong regenerative braking action, something that Chrysler needs to work on before making the Circuit available for sale. Their Envi division however will be picked by someone at the liquidation sale. What exactly do they have to sell? A contract with UQM?
