I could write a screed like this just about every week -- it seems like we're constantly hearing about Tesla or one of Elon Musk's other companies cutting corners when it comes to safety, presumably in order to keep the stock price juiced. If you buy an EV that lasts a million km, this EV will last 3 times longer than an ICE car. By 2030, most people will choose to buy EV's as it won’t make financial sense to buy a pollution car. The Japanese giants, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, are in denial, whereas the Americans giants, Ford and GM, are floundering.

Therefore, until we get quick-charge batteries -- based on new breakthroughs, Ill take a WAG and estimate that we will have real 5-minute quick-charge batteries in perhaps 10 years -- we are likely to get our juice mostly from our home chargers.
