Following a successful pilot program, BMW Group has launched ReachNow, a free-floating premium car sharing service, in Seattle. The initial fleet of 370 vehicles, including the BMW i3, the BMW 3 Series and the MINI Cooper, will be located on the streets of Seattle for immediate use. Chauffeur service – book a car with a driver.

The expansion to Brooklyn marks the company’s first expansion beyond the West Coast of the United States; the service currently operates in Seattle and Portland. ReachNow’s Ride on-demand service will launch as a pilot program in Seattle on 8 Dec. ReachNow Share service will begin in Seattle on 15 Dec.

With the cruise control on, managed to have a lovely conversation with Karthik on Jared Diamond’s excellent book Guns, Germs and Steel. (In We switched on Google Maps and left for Ooty. But that is not the case in the cockpit.
