NEVI funds can be used for EV charging infrastructure: acquisition, installation, network connection, operation, maintenance, and long-term EV charging station data sharing.

And so that's what we call "DC fast charging." New DC fast-charging stations are being built at a fairly fast clip. The challenge for the makers there is that there are multiple DC fast charging networks out there run by different companies. It doesn't cover the whole thing, but you do get a chunk of it back as a tax credit.
