Tesla Motors, a Silicon Valley company that makes electric cars, says it has already sold 150 of its $109,000 Roadsters in the Bay Area. Despite such skepticism, Washington is putting considerable money into the effort, including billions of dollars in loans to Ford, Nissan and Tesla Motors.

Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. Instead of investing in our future we dumped money on trying to save the past. Way to go morons. P.S. The Volt is not revolutionary.
