The LeBaron name goes well back in Chrysler history, starting when the coachbuilder known as LeBaron Carrossiers was purchased by Detroit car-body-builder Briggs Manufacturing in 1926 and Chrysler bought Briggs in 1953. Here's one of those cars, found in a Denver boneyard recently. Worth restoring? Not in this condition.

Just over 20,000 Buick Reattas were made during the model's production run for the 1988 through 1991 model years, and I had documented seven of them in car graveyards prior to today's Junkyard Find. All of those cars were in reasonably good condition, but today's '88 is an example of a Reatta that was loved to death by its final owner.

Mitsubishi began selling cars with its own branding in the United States in late 1982 , introducing three car models and a pickup as 1983 models. Today's Junkyard Find is one of the very last Diamantes sold here, now residing in a Denver car graveyard. The hot-rod VR-X got an additional five horses. Why is it here?

Today's Junkyard Find , found in a yard just south of Denver , is a nicely preserved example of the final year of the S110 Silvia , as well as of the Datsun name. This car sure looks a lot like the 1978-1983 Mitsubishi Galant Lambda hardtop , sold in North America as the Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Sapporo.
