No less an auto industry titan as Ford has also made bidirectional charging a selling point of their F-150 Lightning electric truck, reportedly slated to roll off the lines this year. In case of power outage at home, the DC pins in the charger can send juice back into the house, keeping the lights on. Not so independent.

A distance of 923 km using DC fast charging infrastructure. Abhishek and Kamlesh had taken an auto to do some snacking in Nathdwara city. It was a dark desert highway, and there was cool wind in the hair. We used a constant power of 2-3 bar, did some wind-cheating and reached Jaipur in 2 hrs 45 minutes.

He told us that a boat gets its maximum speed, not by going in the same direction as the wind, but when it is at an angle of 45 degrees to the wind.
