Basically, if your electric car or plug-in (PHEV) vehicle has V2L tech, it has built-in bi-directional charging and an AC power outlet. This means you can power or charge AC appliances with a three-pin plug from your car’s (far larger) battery. Hence why so many pesky kids got one for Christmas.

Ignorance is bliss (at least Australia is moving to more renewables for power generation!). I’ve still got 200km range remaining so have seen no reason to plug the Taycan in yet. The understated choice, perhaps, for those not wanting to stand out too much in a Taycan. Except there’s no wireless phone charging, annoyingly.
