To continue the earlier theme, I’m looking forward to driving three new Chinese EV entries to the Australian market, all of them potentially offering outstanding value for money. If it wasn’t so stupidly expensive (around $100K, at least), I’d buy one. The EV I’m most looking forward to in 2023. Biggest EV surprise of 2022.

I wonder, then, how many car-company execs are throwing their spare Nokias at the product guys who told them EVs would never catch on, that Tesla was a flash in the pan, like Laser Disc players or Google Glass (again, there’s that feeling of Apples falling from the sky to beat your head in, hello Vision Pro), and would never catch on.

You can do a google search to check the facts on energy creation. It is very clear to me that Toyota’s EV announcements are geared to serve the Chinese and EU markets, which have more aggressive zero-emission vehicle goals than the rest of the world. Why would people buy Toyota ICE cars then? That is absolute nonsense.
