While some automakers are still introducing 2024 EVs, Audi is pushing out a mid-model refresh of the Q4 50 e-tron, called the Q4 55 e-tron. The Audi refresh includes several notable improvements on the performance and handling side, as well as faster charging. That’s 22 miles more EPA range than the 2024 Audi Q4 e-tron 50 EV.

These include the Audi Q5E Quattro, a hybrid SUV that has an EPA rating of 61 MPGe and 23 miles of pure electric range; as well as the Jeep Wrangler 4XE, a 5-seat hybrid SUV that gets 20 MPGe and an all-electric range of 21 miles. However, a number of gas-powered hybrids actually do.

The IRS noted that the vehicles on the list below don’t automatically qualify but must also have undergone final assembly in North America and not exceed a manufacturer-suggested retail price (MSRP) of $80,000 for vans, SUVs, and pickups or $55,000 for other vehicles. BYD officially entered Japan’s auto market last January, launching its affordable Atto 3 (Yuan Plus in China) electric SUV. An extended range version (150 kWh battery) offers up to 295 miles (476 km) range, starting at ¥4 million ($27,000). Most imports were luxury brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi.
