Globally, by 2025, Audi is aiming to have 30 electrified models on sale, with 20 of those vehicles fully electric. In the US, Audi has already introduced five production models: the Audi Q5 TFSI e, A7 TFSI e and A8 TFSI e plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) as well as the e-tron all-electric SUV and upcoming e-tron Sportback.

Audi is presenting the Audi A6 L e-tron concept at Auto China 2012 in Beijing. Audi says that with its first e-tron technology study in the luxury class, it is showing what a locally produced New Energy Vehicle from Audi might look like. The basis for this study is the new A6 L, Audi’s bestselling model in China.

Audi has unveiled the new-generation Audi A4 and A4 Avant, developed with a high priority on the reduction of CO 2 emissions. TFSI based on Miller cycle, introduced by Audi earlier this year at the Vienna Motor Symposium. The new A4 Sedan has the best drag coefficient in its class at 0.23, while Avant has c d 0.26.
