UPS to deploy prototype Class 6 extended range fuel cell electric vehicle delivery truck; trials begin in Q3

UPS will deploy a prototype extended range Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) in its Rolling Laboratory fleet of alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles. The UPS trucks are equipped with a 32 kW Hydrogenics fuel cell coupled to 45 kWh of battery storage and 10 kg of hydrogen fuel.

US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

These projects put more than 9,000 alternative fuel and energy-efficient light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles on the road, and establish 542 refueling locations across the country. The project will deploy 502 alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles through 119 public and private fleets throughout the state.

California ARB releases proposed Innovative Clean Transit (ICT) regulation; 100% ZEB purchasing by 2029

CARB will conduct a public hearing on 27 September in Sacramento to consider the proposed ICT Regulation.
