MFC members included Toyota, GE Energy, VW, Suzuki, Petrobras and Conoco. The MFC applied this concept of surrogate fuels to develop both fossil-based and bio-based fuel models. Diesel fuel components, including n-heptane, iso-octane, decalin and alpha-methyl naphthalene (AMN). The MFC is ending its work in December.
