If fuel economy is a pacing item, then getting 32 mpg with the smaller displacement probably is worth foregoing the performance benefits of the larger engine. Our review of the not-so-much-smaller 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid returned stellar fuel economy topping 50 miles per gallon. A true contender in its class.
