From Chevrolet will come 15 new models and upgrades, which will range from affordable small cars to midsize sedans. Later this year, GM China will offer the Chevrolet Volt extended-range electric vehicle. Its two mainstream brands, Buick and Chevrolet, will account for nearly half.

It's official, the Cadillac Converj is to be the second extended-range electric vehicle after the Volt. I may be most interested affordable electric cars, but this makes sense to me. I only wish GM had the smarts back in the day to have rebranded the EV1 as a Caddy and continued limited run production.

GM also plans to make the Chevrolet Volt extended-range electric vehicle flex-fuel-capable about a year or so after it’s introduced. Tom Stephens GM continues to work to expand its flex-fuel portfolio, and has committed that more than 50% of its production by 2012 will be flex-fuel capable.
