Sure, if you need to make lots of long trips in a car, and can only afford to have one car, then probably a Tesla’s not for you. Or if you don’t want to go into details, just compare the Volt to the Aptera :-) — James 15. Where is affordable. How about using a competition sailplane for comparison, instead?
