Like every hybrid Prius since 1997, the Corvette doesn’t need to plug in, but refills the battery either through regenerative braking or, if you decide to lift, from coasting, or directly from the engine. kilowatt-hour battery tucked between the seats. The Vette’s usual 495 hp V8 directs its power to the rear wheels.

Per the IRS: Beginning January 1, 2023, if you buy a qualified previously owned electric vehicle (EV) or fuel cell vehicle (FCV) from a licensed dealer for $25,000 or less, you may be eligible for a previously owned clean vehicle tax credit under Internal Revenue Code Section 25E.

But it’ll be clean and fun, so this brand pivot makes a lot of sense. The Toyota Prius, a battery-gasoline hybrid, is a very famous and recognizable example of this approach.

The sites were opened to much fanfare between 2017 and 2019 and were owned and operated by a subsidiary of ITM Power, the Aim-quoted electrolyser company. Number 1 has been Toyota with an insane love of Hydrogen and a similar dictate for Battery Power, even after the highly successful Toyota Prius. From 2019 and now mostly forgotten.
