Nel ASA awarded multi-billion NOK contract for 448 electrolyzers (1 GW) by Nikola Motor

Nel ASA has been awarded a contract for delivery of 448 electrolyzers and associated fueling equipment to Nikola Motor Company (Nikola) as part of Nikola’s development of a hydrogen station infrastructure in the US for truck and passenger vehicles. We’ll begin fleet testing the Nikola hydrogen electric semi-trucks in 2019.

Mirai uses the Toyota Fuel Cell System (TFCS), which features both fuel cell technology and hybrid technology, and includes Toyota’s new proprietary fuel cell stack and high-pressure hydrogen tanks.

Toyota to begin sales of Mirai fuel cell vehicle in Europe by September

At the Geneva motor show, Toyota announced that it would begin sales of the new Mirai fuel cell vehicle ( earlier post ) in Europe by September.
