After launching in the US in late 2016, Hyundai’s luxury division, Genesis, is making its presence known in a big way. Genesis sales have grown from less than 7,000 in 2016 to over 69,000 last year, according to data from CNBC. It will serve as the brand’s tech beacon, featuring “innovation that exceeds conventional standards.”

Phase 2 standards for medium- and heavy-duty GHG emission standards. US EPA and NHTSA are planning to issue a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for the Phase 2 standards in the spring of 2015 and a final rule in the spring of 2016. The truck chassis was redesigned as well.
