Exceeding its initial program targets, the plug-in 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid ( earlier post ) has earned an electric-mode fuel economy rating of 84 miles-per-gallon-equivalent (MPGe) from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The score relates to a vehicle’s combined performance on fuel economy and greenhouse-gas emissions.

On March 20, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the final vehicle standards for cars, pickup trucks, and SUVs. For light-duty vehicles such as cars, pickups, and SUVs, the 2032 goal is that the fleet average is 85 grams/mile of CO 2. This is why we don’t run gas vehicles in enclosed spaces. Doing so is deadly.
