Report: JGC-led consortium wins exclusive right to negotiate contract for $8B Vietnam refinery project

has won the exclusive right to negotiate a contract to build Vietnam’s largest refinery in the northern province of Thanh Hoa. The estimated $8-billion project will results in a refinery with the capacity to process 200,000 barrels of crude per day to produce products such as gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, jet fuel and polypropylene.

In June 2015, Saudi Arabia pumped a record 10.564 million barrels a day, a record level. The gross refining margin is nothing but the difference between the value of the refined products and price of the crude oil.
