GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do you see that?
