Kia updates Optima hybrid for MY2013; more power, better fuel efficiency

Kia first introduced the hybrid in 2011. For 2013, the Optima Hybrid features numerous powertrain refinements including a more robust 35 kW (47 hp) electric traction motor; a stronger Hybrid Starter Generator (HSG); and a more powerful 47 kW Lithium Polymer battery.
