Indeed REVA is braced for the future having already unveiled several new models of its own that feature sleeker looks than the G-Wiz which has often been compared to a golf cart. Also unveiled at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show was the REVA NXG, which is scheduled for production in 2011.

In addition to a recent electric car deal with NISSAN Motors ( NSANY ), Portland General Electric, the Oregon state governor and GE have also announced a joint venture with Mitsubishi Motors ( MMTOF.PK ) to develop and sell the Miev electric car with 85 mile range by 2011. By 2011 look for a larger THINK Ox.

Deliveries start in 2011. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. The mines in Canada where the nickel & cadmium are mined is one of the most polluted places on Earth. Oh, and it looks wayyyyy cooler than the Volt. The metals used are shipped (using fossil fuels) all over the planet for processing.
