GM plans to launch the Volt in China in 2011. and Korean golf cart maker CT&T Co. Those prices are much lower than that of General Motors Corp.s Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid, which is expected to sell for $40,000 when it goes on sales in the U.S. in late 2010. Prius hybrid. In addition to a recent electric car deal with NISSAN Motors ( NSANY ), Portland General Electric, the Oregon state governor and GE have also announced a joint venture with Mitsubishi Motors ( MMTOF.PK ) to develop and sell the Miev electric car with 85 mile range by 2011. By 2011 look for a larger THINK Ox.

GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. Honda has probably sold more Civics in a year than the combined total of all 18 of those GM models. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do you see that?
