Sanyo To Build 30B Plant For Automotive Li-Ion Batteries

Report: Toyota to Source Li-ion Batteries from Sanyo

Toyota plans to receive supplies of lithium ion batteries, which have higher output and capacity than the nickel-metal hydride batteries now used in the Prius and other hybrids.
