We’ve got a greenhouse gas-spewing Exxon-Mobil refinery just 5 miles from my house here in Torrance and 9 miles up Pacific Coast Highway sits the climate-changing Chevron refinery in El Segundo. I’ve been blogging on the environment since October of 2007. The fire is 38 miles away in La Canada-Flintridge.
