Our neighborhood is called the “Hollywood Riviera&# because of its beautiful hillside homes with idyllic ocean views framed by palm trees. I’ve been blogging on the environment since October of 2007. The fire is 38 miles away in La Canada-Flintridge. I now devote my full time to working on environmental and energy issues.
