The Think City was short-lived in the States with production halting in 2002 after just 1005 cars had been assembled. The electricity for recharging has to come from somewhere, which means power plants. While Id been harsh on the need for outside recharge stations in the past, actually an intermediate charge may extend battery life.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles.
