One can turn 2001-2003 Prius as Electric Car very easily and cheaply.All one has do is to remove the EFI fuse once ign. is no and you get "READY" indication. But now it well only go about 1.7 or less unit the HV battery down to far.So one well need to add Power to the HV Battery. One needed about min of 160 volt.

The donor is a 1969 VW Beetle we've owned since 2001, but it's been in storage since 2003. On July 1st, 2012, I started my latest (and first EV) project. The body is in great shape, and it even has the factory floorpans still. The car was stripped to just a shell before putting it in storage, so getting the body off the pan was easy.

All of the recessions listed above were caused by oil except the early 2000 recession that was caused by September 11th, 2001. The Early 2000 recession was caused by the events of September 11th, 2001 and this was the mildest recession of any of the ones listed on this page. The effect of this was the current housing mess we have.

The easiest conversions are for 2004-2008 Prius (not 2001-2003 Prius) and the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner Hybrid.
