Laker joined the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 as an EE professor. He left in 1977 to join Bell Labs , in Holmdel, N.J., as a member of the technical staff.

Ishii was honored with several awards including the 2000 IEEE Millennium Medal , the 1984 IEEE Centennial Medal , and the 1969 T.C. Megargel worked as an electrical engineer for several companies including General Electric , Valley Forge , and International Signal and Control. Burnum IEEE Milwaukee Section Memorial Award.
