Piedmont Lithium selects Tennessee for second lithium hydroxide project; 30,000 metric tons per year

This process eliminates the acid-leaching of spodumene and the production sodium sulfate waste, which will make Tennessee Lithium one of the world’s most sustainable lithium hydroxide operations, according to the company. Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for Tennessee Lithium will be performed by Kiewit and Primero.
