There was good news for Volkswagen of America as it reported its October 2009 sales. Jetta TDI sales accounted for 40 per cent of total Jetta saloon and SportWagon sales, while sales of all TDI models accounted for 24 per cent of total October sales. The Volkswagen (VW) Touareg is not exactly the greenest of cars - but it has at least gone a little greener, thanks to a touch of blue. Yes VW has launched a BlueMotion version of the Touareg which offers improved fuel efficiency and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of 219g/km - placing it narrowly below the 225g/km tax threshold.
