Well need to spend some more time with the car to find out how it holds up over longer drives, but the powertrain tech obviously works. Still, for all the faults, this is a very promising vehicle. This one fact is arguably more important than how the car acts on the road. to decide if we ever get to see these promises fulfilled.

In addition to a recent electric car deal with NISSAN Motors ( NSANY ), Portland General Electric, the Oregon state governor and GE have also announced a joint venture with Mitsubishi Motors ( MMTOF.PK ) to develop and sell the Miev electric car with 85 mile range by 2011.
