With more than 550 electric taxis on European roads, Nissan is now Europe’s best-selling manufacturer of 100% electric taxis. based in Budapest, has purchased 65 Nissan LEAFs in a bid to become Hungary’s largest zero-emission fleet. During 2015, more than 100 electric vehicles were delivered to taxi companies across Europe.

The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has published new data demonstrating the correlation between the market uptake of electrically-chargeable vehicles (ECVs) and both GDP and customer incentives. Five EU member states don’t offer any incentives at all: Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania, Malta and Poland. ECV Units sold.

And EV straggler Honda shed a bit more light on its upcoming EVs built on GM’s Ultium battery and powertrain platform. The company recently executed a purchase and sales agreement on an engineering facility in Tunica , according to Yahoo!
