They have 4 models of electric scooters and also plan to launch some motorcycles. The lead acid version is priced at 52 K. This leads to my next hypothesis about the Click battery: it is most likely LTO chemistry. This makes fast recharging possible and provides high currents when needed. Here are my thoughts.

But besides that, the only electronics potentially benefiting from THIS breakthrough are RCs and household rechargeable batteries.

As someone who rides a bike and a motorcycle in traffic, any time you can remove an internal combustion engine from spewing crap out its tailpipe and in your face, it’s a good thing. The trucks can be supplied with lithium phosphate batteries (right) from Valence Technologies, or lead-acid batteries from Trojan.

If you just set aside the fantasy goal of an electric car with the same or better performance than an ICE powered car then we could build utilitarian short range EVs now, and could have been doing this coninually since 1900 with lead-acid batteries. The electricity for recharging has to come from somewhere, which means power plants.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. 80 miles was the range of the EV1 with Lead Acid batteries, that GM tried to use because they wanted the project to fail. check your facts.
