Anyway, after the Renew America Roadtrip with the Tesla run from New York to California, and after returning to Home Sweet Bisbee, it was time to get into the thinking mode of a three-in-one EVent back with the Electric Vehicle Association of Greater Washington, DC. In our haste, we unfortunately installed the steering backwards.

Washington, D.C. Seattle says it intends to help develop the charging network; consider incentives for buying and using the cars, and creating charging stations; consider regulatory changes to support the cars, such as streamlined permitting for installing charging outlets; and consider leasing or buying the cars for its fleet.

We also made regular trips to Washington DC to lobby for support for the National Parks at the House, Senate, and NGO levels and we learned that we could meet with anyone we gave money to. The more money we gave the longer the meeting was and better the food got. But nothing we did could gain the parks any more love or funding.
