Norway’s plugin electric vehicles took 91.1% The slight dent in share came from a drop in plugin hybrid volume, against overall market growth. March’s combined plugin result of 91.1% plugin hybrids. Plugless hybrids (HEVs) did better than PHEVs, growing their share from a year ago (6.1% year on year.

Well, if you can communicate info over the wire, why bother with the wireless? The only way to do this would be to have the device somehow communicate over the wire an identifier and then the charger could match the identifier over the wire with the identifier over the air and know they are the same device.
