Toyota Prius production begins in Thailand

The world’s most popular hybrid car has broken new ground after the Toyota Motor Thailand Company held a line-off ceremony at its Gateway Plant in Chachoengsao Province to mark the start of production. The Toyota Prius plant will produce around 12,000 units annually with sales expected to begin as early as today.
