The journey to Mauritania also attracted me because it went through Southern Spain and Morocco, where I had never been before. Three hours later, I was in the City of Lights, on my way to Gare de Lyon for a layover. After a good night’s sleep, I continued my journey through Spain. My fears faded, and excitement took over.
