This project started about a month ago when I became co-chair of the Oregon Electric Vehicles Association. While people can purchase neighborhood electric vehicles today for about $10K, they only have a top speed of 35 miles an hour or so, essentially glorified golf-carts.

The GWKulla, a short, curvy compact, runs on lithium-ion batteries and can go 160 kilometers (99 miles) when fully charged, the company says. and Korean golf cart maker CT&T Co. Mitsubishi to help Oregon build. Its expected price tag is between 60,000 yuan and 70,000 yuan, or about $8,780 to $10,250.

Kulongoski, Oregon as the electric-car manufacturer may be eyeing the “green” city of Portland. They are also useless if you ever need to drive over 100 to 200 miles in one trip.
