Battery charge and power are maintained at high levels and the battery is not subject to heat damage caused during recharging. A direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) uses liquid methanol rather than hydrogen. This significantly increases productivity by eliminating the labor and equipment costs associated with battery swapping.

They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. will become less common over the next 10-years and that a mix of alternative fuel vehicles including electric, biofuel, hydrogen and solar will and is now seeing tremendous market growth.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart.
