GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. The car has been rolling along ever since, including a plug-in hybrid Prime model today and variants that were discarded along the way. Perhaps the first electric sub-brand was BMW’s i series, which included the i3 hatchback and i8 plug-in hybrid sports coupe.
