E15 blended gasoline is now available in four of North Dakota’s larger cities. North Dakota is the ninth state to offer the fuel blend containing 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline. The others are Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Varying pipeline availability has little impact on the prices that US consumers pay for refined products such as gasoline or for heavy crude demand in the Gulf Coast. If new east-west and cross-border pipelines were both completely constrained, oil sands crude could reach US and Canadian refineries by rail.
