The CEC updates its Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV) sales figures quarterly by analyzing DMV data. Specifically, cumulative sales through the end of 2021 were: 663,014 BEV (62.9%). Some haven’t proved as popular as hoped ( Mazda MX-30 ) while some owners may have simply decided, in a few months of ownership, that an EV isn’t for them. We found only four for sale, with $28,880 for a 190km range 2014 60Ah version with 100,000km the cheapest. But there are some. Attention, bargain shoppers.

Porsche Taycan: Ranging in price from $83,000 to $188,000 , the Taycan had a YOY sales increase of 127%, perhaps partially due to the addition of the Cross Turismo station wagon variant. Audi e-tron Sportback: The e-tron Sportback had YOY sales increase of 77%, but sales in quarters 3 and 4 were significantly below that of Q1 and Q2.
