The battery is rated for 30-50 miles of range, but using too much throttle can eat into your supply. But for anything longer, you might want to consider bringing a second charged battery to swap in on your journey. Even the battery seemed to last forever for my inner-city trips and is easily removable to take inside for a quick charge.
