Ford has taken the first step toward offering Tesla Supercharger access to its electric vehicle owners by offering a complimentary charging adapter. CEO Jim Farley announced this morning that Ford EV drivers are now able to reserve a complimentary charging adapter soon. Tesla to open 12,000 Superchargers to Ford across U.S.

GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. Thats right.
