Virginia Tech team wins EcoCAR Competition

The team from Virginia Tech University received top honors as overall winners of EcoCAR: The NeXt Challenge after designing and building an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) using E85 (ethanol). The University of Waterloo took third place with a hydrogen fuel cell plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.

EcoCAR Teams Roll Out Architectures; Plug-in Li-ion Packs and Renewable Energy Common Attributes
