It's official, the Cadillac Converj is to be the second extended-range electric vehicle after the Volt. I only wish GM had the smarts back in the day to have rebranded the EV1 as a Caddy and continued limited run production. The first Level III chargers deployed by Etec will offer free juice.

When GM installed chargers for the EV1 they used a 50amp 220V circuit that could pump over 6KW into the batteries. Some industrial sites are even set up with 440V 3 phase service.
